Default Time for a new clutch anyone running a Moster 6 yet

Ok so I pulled my motor and trans out of my car and finished pulling everything apart today to find that my 8000 miles TEx z-grip is worn down the the rivets. I was having trouble with it disengaging at the end of the season this year.

Need something that is going to support hard launches 1.4 60's in a 3500lb race weight car. Also planning on upping the power level for next season. hopefully in the 720-750 rwhp range

I am thinking about a spec twin since I have a buddy with a procharged Vett making 770rwhp that is cutting 1.4 60's and is not having any issues. Just weighing out mu options before I drop a ton of cash on a clutch.

I guess I am wondering how many people are really racing with these and making big power. Just don't want to drop a ton of cash and have it not last

I had 23K on my Monster level 3 - and I beat the **** out of it every day. No issues at the track with high rpm launches on slicks. I have about 2K on my Monster level 6 in my DD right now, and I love it. Not making quite that much power yet, but I guarantee you this thing will hold it. Once you experience Monster's customer service, you'll never buy anything else.

Spec does NOT compare to Monster in customer service/warr. Steve takes care of his customers IF problems arise....trust me i know. I currently have a Monster level 6 and love it. Drives better than any of the .5 discs did. It has seen 20 or so 6600-7k dumps and been power shifted like a ****, and has not skipped a beat. I would def. go with a Monster over Spec any day of the week.
