Default Torquer V.3

I am going to purchase a cam for my car I want to go with something aggressive my car is mostly stock with full exhaust, Air lid, and LS6 intake. I was looking into the Torquer V.3. My car is not my daily driver but I do take it on places and on road trips. I am concerned about low RPM use for example if I was on the high way doing about 75 mph with the 6 speed the RPM is below 2000 RPM is my car going to drive like crap because the cam is designed for 2300-6800 RPM power band. Any advice would be great. I am open to recommendations. Thanks

I have the torquer V.2 cam with the mods in my sig. I did lose some low end power. My car idle's at 1000 rpm's and sounds choppy. It does not die at stop lights driveability is not to bad, but I would not want to drive this car every day.

I will say I have a blast on the weekends and at car shows the sound is amazing and so is the power. At 3000 rpm's she pulls hard!

6th is gonna be slightly less useable with any decent sized cam. Its the nature of the beast

I had a torquer cam in mine for 45,000 miles as a daily driver ... beleive me it will be much happier with 4.10 gears with a that cam ... it does not do much till you get it to 3500 and then it starts to wake up ... from 4000 to 7000 it pulls real strong

Im also interested in the performance of this cam. It seems drivable enough for me. . but not too much like a MS4.

ive got it in my a4 as my daily driver. Cam feels really good across the board, and i dont think im even at 100% on my tune. Cam sounds just nasty too, ive got the 111lsa and through the cutouts it sounds like a prostock car. through the catback slightly more mellow, but not much

I had that cam in my ss... I absolutely loved it, I daily drove it for about 4 months. Great highway manners and 22mpg with my lead foot. I'll dig up a video of it racing for ya.

Wow nice pulls Badss! Yea im really falling in love with it. . . Its definitly all i really need.

Gives me the lope i want and a nice mid to high powerband.
Allthough i will be running it on a stock converter. . I just can't justify throwing down 750 for a converter. . . .

What about you redralleyz? did you have a stock converter with that cam?
