flooded parking lot....intermittant missing...codes had a massive rain storm and the car was sitting in a pretty deep puddle. had to drive it out so it didn't get deeper.
car immediatly startted running rough and misfiring. took about 1mi of driving before it flashed the SES. then it smoothed out and had no SES.
car drove fine for a few days, no problems.
then drove the car to the gas station one morning, as i left it started missing again and running rough. SES flashed then it all smoothed out. no SES following that.
drove the car on a longish drive and after 40min of running perfectly, it started missing, running rough and the flashing SES. after about a mile, it all smoothed out again, and AGAIN no ses.
repeated this on the return trip a week later and this time the SES stayed on.

i suspected the code for the o2 sensor, figuring it got flooded and caused a malfunction.
however the MAF code surprised me.
planning to clean the maf in case something got sucked up, as well as check the wiring.
any other suggestions?

Pretty common thing we see here in florida. We have had 3 submarine Fbodies roll thru the shop this year. Bent rods and block ventilation for those poor bastards. Consider yourself lucky- get some MAF cleaner and cautiously clean that puppy.
For those unfortuneate to find themselves caught in flash storms in the south, if you car shuts off, leave it off, call a tow truck. Water does not compress like gasoline.

do you think the 2 codes are connected?
as in....clean the MAF and the code for the 02 may go away? i wouldn't think so since its only one bank.
