Ok. Have a friend moving from Cali to Austin. Are inspectioms there sticklers on tint? She has 5% on her car n truck. I know in Houston I got mine passed no issue. If there is a spot to go that will do it let me know. Much appreciated!!!

I live in buda which is next to austin and I failed because my tint was too dark on the sides . The rear doesn't matter

5% all the way around. They really check? I'm 5% all over and not an issue.... I told her it would not be an issue. Maybe she will have to come here.

Some places will check and some places will look the other way. I know a couple of places out here in the Lakeway area that would probably look the other way.
