Default por 15 coatings?

Has anyone tried out the high temp coatings from por 15 or just get the hot parts coated? Its gonna be a twin turbo car that we are looking to coat. Im afraid with the paint it wont keep the heat in as well as ceramic coated parts? Looking for suggestions on a good coater as well maybe in the midwest?

They do make high temp coatings that will handle 1400 degrees, no idea on how well it will contain the heat. Bob

I would ceramic coat inside and out. That stuff is amazing. You can touch headers 15 minutes after the car is shut down. The luster will dull if you get the exhaust hot enough to glow, but the coating doesn't come off if properly prepped.

I have realized the stuff works great on rust and rough surfaces, but... It doesn't work good at all on smooth surfaces. It always peels right off (on cool surfaces). I would only imagine it would be worse when you add heat to the equation.

I tried it on my roll cage and "really!" wish that i didn't
