Default Clutch Starting Issues

Ok, just recently when I depress the clutch and try to start the car, nothing happens. I release the clutch and re-engage, works like a charm. First thing came to mind was the little button sensor that most standards had mounted on the floorboard that send the signal to tell the car its ok to start. So, without looking....I went to the dealer (I get a huge discount) parts department and went to order one, the parts guy said he couldn't find the part I was looking for in his system. I don't believe him for a minute, but anyone have the part number handy?

I would go under the dash and make sure its connected under there, if it is, put a jumper and see if that works.
