Brake system options
All you guys talk about spending lots and lots of money in brake upgrades for better braking. And thats fine i'm gonna do an upgrage too in my chevy truck. But you guys ever think about installling a hydroboost in your car and a bigger master cylinder to increase braking?

Yeah but in reality you can get a hydro boost setup for cheap, you can get the lines, hydroboost, and master cylinder for $150 and it makes one hell of a difference, and it's alot smaller than the vaccuum booster also. When i get my firebird up and runnin lol, i'm gonna try that. They use them in trucks don't know if cars have them and just brought it up in case nobody thought about it yet. and would also be perfect for guys with bigger cams.

If you guys want you can look for a hydroboost out of a 98 c2500 chevy truck. Theres alot more than that but this one will get you close. You will need the hydro boost, mc, and lines, and brake pedal unless you modify the hydroboost arm. And if you even want more braking power you can get a master cylinder with a bigger bore size. You'd need a proportiong valve but think this would greatly increase braking, i'll let you know how it improves my truck when i put it in. But shouldn't be a hard mod on our 4th gens
