might have a problem look in and see
well i was sold a spec 3...that was actually a spec 5...my question is how long till i have to buy a clutch...i daily drive my car and i have a feeling that this wont last very long

Unfortunaltely there is no real way to estimate clutch life expectancy as it is dependent on a number of factors including flatness of the flywheel used, driving style, the cars overall all usage type, and power/torque output. I do have customers with anywhere from 10K to over 60K on stage 5's. But it's worth noting that the more you slip the clutch the faster it will wear. Ultimatimately it isn't a "street" clutch but I have customers that drive them on the street. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,

Understood! Well, the Stage 5 isn't ideal for street driving but it can be done. I would just use it until you need another unit and then opt for something more street-friendly. When that time comes just let me know and I will be happy to help you. Thanks and have a Merry Christmas!

If it is rigid and completely circular with a metallic facing it is likely a Stage 4+. This is becoming more and more popular though we don't technically advertise this part. It is simply a rigid version of our stage 3+. This set-up is actually better for street drivability and will have a longer life expectancy than a Stage 5 when used on the street. Think of it as a lighter version of our stage 3+. I hope this info helps. Thanks,
