Big time. The car handles like a totally different animal with the SSC's, KYB struts, and the DR STBs.

I'm lowered in the front only, due to a sound system in the rear. It seems to handle a little more tightly, but it LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER!

I know that there is a few fellas on ClubGP lowered on the stock GXP struts with SSC's and Ive only heard nothing but good from them. I plan on lowering my this spring on SSC's with the stock bilsteins, they are a great performance strut, some would say the best you could get but IDK i think maybe the AGX's are....

I'd love this setup. Maybe some day!

It's probably my favorite mod(s). It took all the body roll and that questionable feeling when cornering out of the car. The handling is a lot more linear and the car feels planted and nimble. I impress people when I can hold canyon sweepers at 90+ in a boat of a car.
Not to mention the car rides somewhat close to stock and looks sick.

What number do your ride on? I heard if you leave it on 2, then you could basically get the GR2's and have the same ride.
I had Eibach springs and AGX's on my Stratus coupe and it was a rough ride, but I only got the AGX's because I found them for the same price as GR2's. Even though it was a rough ride, the car rode like it was on rails.
Thanks.

I've always wondered, how do you adjust the stiffness of these struts? is it easy to adjust them or do you need to take off the wheels?

I have them set firmer than the #2 setting and it took a little bit of getting used to before I liked them. The GR2s aren't adjustable and aren't nearly as aggressive as the AGXs.

Yes, you take the the wheel off and adjust the screw valve with a screwdriver or there's an adjustable knob on the side that dictates firmness.

For a little while, yes they can. But when you lower a car, you put an increased load on the shock/strut to dampen the movements in a shorter stroke and with more frequency, so that tends to kill stock struts quickly.

hmm so should i replace them with new bliesteins or should get kyb struts like yours? would those work on the gxp kyb any better?

With an adjustable, you have better control and valving options on a lowered car because the shock/strut can be tailored to work better with a shortened stroke and moving with greater frequency.
If you replace the Bilsteins, they have about a 10k-15k life now with a lowered car.

for sure...it handles amazing now...zero bodyroll, tight cornering made EASY!
looks great...although I must say that I also changed the struts and got the sensa tracs by Monroe, cuz the factory ones died...i'd say lower it first and then make out if you want to change the struts or not.:D

KYB has strut mounts and all sorts of extras that'll jack your price up if you don't use the stock ones. You can get a set of four stock replacement ones for 125 or something.

I am so interested in that. My back end sits lower because I have subs and I've been dying to figure out a way to drop the front.
Would you tell the guys over there that I am interested in them for a monte?
