Default about 1/3 way through major rash of mods.

comp 918 springs - installed
comp z-series 224 cam -installed
gforce axle - awaiting install
new maggie w/ ovedrive - awaiting delivery
walbro fuel pump - awaiting install
methanol kit - need to order
trusty tr-6 plugs - awaiting install

snow on the ground out here, so ill be leaving the car apart till i get it all wrapped up.

after all that, most likely will be switching the car over to speed density by FROST on here. hoping for 500rw ballpark.

thought it was dum how the timing cover was so hung up behind the a/c tensioner and the alternator bracket. all the acessories are damn near same exact spot as on the f bodies, but they had to go and move junk just enough to be in front of the cover... and whatever bracket was under the front pan bolt.. i hate you.

i also don't like how the damper doesnt really come cast for easy 3 jaw puller acess. o and i reccomend using a short one

Where are you going to inject the meth at?
Some roots guys are tapping below the rotors and injecting below the blower.

Hope all goes well with the install, the cam is a great choice, you should see your 500 RWHP. VA sucks, as that front plate kills air flow. FL sucks, too, but at least we have no front plate law, yet.

the dyno is from http://www.land-and-sea.com/

previous to teardown the car has:
b&b longtubes, cats, b&b touring catback
cold air intake (think a guy home-made and sold them?)
custom tune

the diff is the updated version but otherwise stock with only aluminum cradle spacers i made.

other stuff its allready got
tint
short shifter
clutch
hotchkis swaybars
powdercoated stock rims
lowered
2 jl 10's and amp
the rear shocks are lowered with relocation plates i made also
i took the speakerbox out for the 12.86

im planning on selling the magnavolt (not using)

i was thinking of making some aluminum rings to go in place of the bmr cradle bushings..my question is how much of the diff noise tranfers thru the aluminum by solidly mounting the cradle

A LOT of noise. Mine is solid mounted with some custom steel bushings modeled off the ones that came with the KARS III kits. Works great, but the whine from the diff is transfered directly to the cabin.

the aluminum rings i made (think they are posted about as 'cradle crushers' here or caddyforums) were used to compress nearly all of the rubber above and below the cradle. i do hear more rear end noise. it helped wheelhop on the street but not at the track.

i am hoping this gforce axle will do the trick for that.. looks nice.

sounds like your going to have one bad V when your done

I have been in talks with speed inc out of Chicago the past week or so about dropping my V off there after tax returns and doing ls2 ported TB fast 92 ported intake, kooks, patriot heads, and a cam. should put me around 430 to the wheels or so.

I have been looking at axles from gforce to tide me over but just cant get myself to pull the trigger and buy.

Cant wait to see the finished product of your car.
