It is always a cheaper option to have the product ship to a business location or even pickup at the nearest freight terminal (which we can help locate for you).
This is because many carriers add between $60-70.00 in additional home delivery costs to the base price of freight.

its the bolt on wide sunoco hood. My car is on the site. It will look out of place without some drag wheels i personally think. I would do the normal sunoco hood with your cars setup. but its your car :) so do what you want :)

And others we would have to make when ordered....which currently our production time is 5-6 weeks.

A buddy of mine got it, picked it up this morning. You"ll love it! It goes great with drag wheels! It adds to the look! My new combo is gonna need more clearance, 4500tb on top of a vic jr, so i wanna keep it covered. Going with extended sunoco. I'm ready for it now!

I seen a 5" WS6 hood in person. I was not real impressed. Are the bolt on hoods alittle thicker than the 5" hoods?? Looks like you could tear the 5" in half if you wanted too looked really thin. Thanks.

03 Busa - Our pin on hoods are geared for racing. This being said...most guys racing want a thin ultra light hood...which is exactly what ours are...we are known for making some of the lightest racing glass out there:cool:
Our bolt on hoods have a frame on the underside - which makes them thicker - and already have provisions to which you can add your factory hinges and front latch to.

Once it goes through...we will try our best to get everyone out as quickly as possible...but just on the safe side - you guys are looking at a 1-2 week production time on items we keep in stock - the 98-02 Camaro Ext Sunoco Pin ons and the 98-02 Camaro Sunoco Bolt on no line.
Everything else will be 2-4 weeks depending on where your order is in line...
But what we are hoping to do is knock off some of that time by you guys adding the parts up here for us...which should be possible.

Ok, does the extended version block your view any or is it still easy to see around?

We designed the Extended Sunoco hood for better visibility...this hood is 6" of height where you need the clearance...but it comes back down in towards the hood at the back - so our customers can see around it better. At the back by the windshield, this is 2-3" in height.

Just a few questions I missed:emb:

DoomSS - no...I am sorry, we wanted to build something different and went with our version of the 3" SS hood instead. We had never built a standard style SS hood.

Reamo04 & JMILL96Z - The moran hood is pretty big.
The only reason we designed this monster of a hood is to give Mike (Moran) the additional clearance he needed with everything he was running.

This hood is 5" in height, but the problem with this particular hood is that instead of "dipping back" down towards the hood at the back - like the Sunoco - it is on a continuous rise - hitting the windshield about 1/2 way up because of the slant this is on.
It is also a very wide scoop - spanning almost the full width of the hood....

Because of this, we generally recommend going with our extended Sunoco if possible - it was one of the reasons we designed the Sunoco hood....
Customers do purchase it...but it is tough to see around.

This is why we did not do another for the lt1's.

The price with the GP discount is $390.00 for the Moran hood.
It does come extended...for a stock front end, we move the foam reinforcement towards the front...but it will still require trim once you receive the hood.

I would love to give you an additional discount - but I'm not so sure my boss will go for that!:D

The best thing to do is lay a flat board across your fenders then measure up at that point.
Once you have that height, if you can let me know what it is, I can compare to the hood and see if it will clear.
