A 3.4 pulley on the head unit can result in belt slippage due to a lack of belt wrap. I'd use a 3.55 pulley and have a one inch larger oversize crank pulley made for it. Bob

last pulls we made with mine before going with the F1C were with a 3.4 8 rib and a 10% over crank pulley... see the graph below, to be honest I believe there was a little more left in it, not a bunch, but some...

it took a long time and many MANY changes to the setup to break the 750rwhp barrier, but with the right combo I believe the P1SC could support 800rwhp if being overspun...

Wow, most people with the f body bracket system end up with belt slippage going with anything smaller than a 3.55 pulley. Something doesn't sound right with your set-up, a 3.0 pulley should make a lot more than 9 psi unless your cam has a lot of overlap, or you live up at a very high elevation. Bob

That should do it. Back in the day I had a D-1SC and with the stock 6.0 six rib crank pulley and a 4.0 head unit pulley the car made 7 psi of boost. Swapped out the crank pulley to the MMS crank pulley and the boost went up to 15 psi. Bob

You either have a boost leak, faulty bypass valve, filthy air filter or the belt is slipping. I'd make sure the bypass valve only has a slight airgap when in the closed position. My brother's LT1 P-1SC Formula has been at 9 psi since '02 when the kit was shipped from ProCharger. You have to get past the inactive pic's. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...tCar.php?car=7 Bob

You need to spin it pretty good to max it out... I think max is like 62k RPM for the P1.

BTW, I have an MMS crank pulley for sale... $150 shipped...

https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts...0-shipped.html

...and a 3.2" 6-rib blower pulley for $40 shipped :

https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts...pped-each.html

I just upgraded to an 8-rib setup.

Cheers,
Rob (Bad30th)

I'd check everything out. You can cap off the intercooler tubing at the throttle body, and at the blower, and pressurize the system by installing a schrader valve into one cap. Last year we had a new ProCharger GTO intercooler that was leaking boost at a missed weld, it happens. Bob
