Well, i think tax time will bring a chance to get the trans in the car rebuilt. I am not needing a performance trans. My car puts about 220 to the tires, so dont think i need to go to performabuilt or circle D.

Looking to get a recommendation on a reasonably priced quality rebuilder in the Houston, league city, pearland, friendswood area. Trans has 160K miles and about 25K of that was on a 3500 stall. Just need a fresh set of internals and a good inspection of the valvebody. Also would be nice to have a quick turnaround.

Saw a few ads on craigslist, but not too sure about someone who has 10 ads posted in a weeks time. I'm sure someone out there can lead me in the right direction.

Circle D can do a good stock rebuild for ya or get crazzy with it too. My good friend works at Circle D as a builder. They have always done good work for us.

You really do get what you pay for, and a tranny is something you really don't want to skimp on.
