reseating rings?
I have a 347 with Mahle power pak pistons and rings, it seems the rings never seated or I have another problem. I keep getting oil leaks and after changeing rear seal realize I have blowby.
I pulled the belt and heated the engine to 245 degrees and let it cool down yesterday, is there anything else to do? If not I will be pulling the motor and reringing it soon. I knew the car should have ran stronger then it did, 10.68 at 124 so far. Not what it should be in a 2600 lb raceweight.
It did dyno 392 rwhp through a th350 with a 8 inch 4700 stall converter and 31x13 slicks.
