Default Looking for the last few drops. FAST coils and UD

Sup guys, I am looking for the last few ponies I can get out of my stock heads with a trex cam. I dont want to spend the money on heads but I am looking for the final touches. I am thinking about a FAST 90 92 set up because I can get a good deal on it, UD pullies and MSD coil's. I currently make 421RWHP with stock heads and LS6 intake. What extra power do you guys think I can squeeze out with those mods? Thanks.

UD pulley should be good for 8-10hp at the motor. Not sure about the coils.

MSD Coils are a waste of money. You won't make any more power with them. Some people have had some luck with LSX truck coils.

Just curious, you might spend 1000+ on the FAST but don't want to spend the money on heads? You can get a decent set of heads for the price of a FAST 90/92.

Yep, don't waste money on the MSD or truck coils. You will not gain anything for the money spent.
UD should give you a few, 5-10 hp

I am getting a pretty solid deal from my buddy and he is selling it all to me for 650 FAST intake/TB and its all brand new. The way I am looking at it is, I can have one of the best intake set ups and be ready for when I actually do put a set of heads on my car I wont have to worry about buying a 2K + set of heads and another grand on an intake. I think 650 for the FAST set up is pretty hard to resist. I am trying ti put all the final touches on my car now since I am being transferred to the Army reserves and start college so I wont have as much cash coming in, so I wont to get the small things out of the way.

Armageddon my car is all black on black Z06's.

i got about 8rwhp being cam only going from a ls6 intake to a fast, you might gain a hair more with the trex but the heads really become the restriction...

if you ditch your ac (33lbs of the front end) and get a ram air, i gained 2.5mph over a stock setup, or 1.2mph over a FTRA

good bang for the buck...

i would do the UD pulleys and fast that is a good deal, especially if you get heads in the future

If you can get a FAST 90/90 for $650 then I would get it now. It will help when you get heads down the road.

For what you'll spend on the coils might as well get a electric water pump for max effort

DEF get the FAST intake....especially for THAT price!!

my 233/233 cam only setup gained 18hp/12ftlbs with a home ported FAST...back to back runs.

UD pulley and EWP would be the next obvious ...every little bit...mods.

What else do you have to get to 421rwhp with ls6 intake and trex cam on stock heads, that seems like a hell of a lot?
