Default Tire height change affect on pinion angle

When I shorten my rear LCA's to pull tire forward (going from 26" to 28"), I expect my pinion to rotate upwards. Do you expect I will have to lengthen the torque arm to put pinion back in original position (-2 degrees).

what's your experience?

The pinion angle should not be affected by adjusting the control arms. The torque arm holds the pinion angle rigid regardless of the control arm length. When you shorten the CA's the TA and rearend will pull forward together and the TA will slide forward in it's mount(or rotate the front bushing depending on your TA setup).

right. but on a solid link TA, I would think PA would have to change as LCA's are shortened.

Pinion Angle will change when adjusting the lower control arms. I had to adjust my PA when I adjusted the LCA's. I checked it before and after and it was different for sure.

Shortening the lowers, with a fixed t/a mount, will add upward load to the mount.

Seems DA torque arm could be shortened along with the LCA's thereby not changing PA.

the t/a won't achieve what you are trying to do.

that's funny; i never stated what I was trying to do. If the front mount on the TA were lowered, a DA TA was shortened, and the LCA's were shortened, PA would not change.
