Default What thottle body to go with ls6 intake?

hey guys, sorry if this is kind of a noob question, but what is the best throttle body that would go with my ls6 intake? should i just port the stock one or get a brand new bigger one?

Thanks

Porting the stock one works fine. You will notice better throttle response if you port it but thats about it. If you want to get a new TB BBK makes a good product, also Professional Products has a nice TB and i think its a little cheaper then most of them.

Horsepower wise you wont notice a seat of the pants difference, but either way you go is worth about 5-7 HP.

The stock one is fine. Do a good port and polish job on it and you will be all set

don't waste your money on something else that you can gain by just porting yours... use the money elsewhere

my friend is running an 85 with an adapter to go back to 75. he plans to upgrade to a different intake, but is you plan to keep the LS6 you can either have it ported to 85 or just Port/Polish your stocker and knife edge the Blade

If you decide not to port your own, "Damien" or "TheSilverGhost" are members on this site who will do it. I believe they still do it for $65. Turn around time is about 1 week and they both do excellent work.

Port your stocker and do the Bump Stop mod to it.. You can also mod the shaft, knife the blade, and put different screws in it to get it flush if you feel like it'll make that big of a difference.

Could descreen your MAF while you're at it..
