Question Trying to launch on a 150-200 shot, Really need help!

Hey techies, I am only 2 months out from returning from Afghan and starting to purchase my parts for my build. My current mods are in my sig, I already purchased a nitro daves plate kit and am keeping my eye out on a rear end. But I know there is no possible way that my car will hook on a 150-200 shot. I am trying to stay on a budget, not super cheap but nothing crazy as I have other stuff to buy. But the question is, what do I need suspension wise to be able to launch and hook with a 150-200 shot??? Sorry this is so long, but I really need advise and opinions on this. Thanks guys!

9 Inch or the S60 Rear End.
Subframe Connectors
Ajustable Torque Arm.
Ajustable Lower Control Arms.
Rear Drag Anti-Roll Bar.
Ajustable Pan Hard Bar.
Slicks or a Drag Radial.

UMI and BMR can put a package together with everything you need.

Mainly a rear end is what is needed. The stock pieces will work fine but are definately not optimal. Few cars around here have been 5.99 and some low 6's with stock tq arm and rear suspension.

I would definately do a rear end, rear sway bar, adjustable shocks and subframes first

It is actually pretty easy to make it hook on that shot, I leave on 300 with a umi short torque arm nine inch adjustable lowers and panhard. I also have a wolfe anti roll bar. I 60 in the 1.29-1.31 range. I dont even have sfcs.

I suggest you install re-locate brackets for the lower control arms

Ok thanks guys, I have heard of a lot of people having vibration and ratteling problems with there tq arms that are connected to the cross member as opposed to the trans tail shaft. Have any of you experienced this? My buddy is also trying to get me to buy 3 point sfc's, are those neccessary or will the in-line 2 points work fine?

the 2 point should work fine for you, just make sure you weld 'em in

Are the weld in ones better? Just seems so..permenant. I was thinking about the bolt in ones incase I wanted to ever upgrade or something, but I do want the best.

You are right! If you want to leave on a 250-300 shot you are going to need something that helps transfer weight and keep the rear tires planted.

Hello
The bolt on SFC's will work just fine! And later on down the road if they work to your expectations you can then have them welded as well. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help!
Thanks
Brad

you can have all the right parts bolted on the car but if you cant launch hard because of a weak rearend then none of it is any good. I have a complete setup and a proven working combination that will get you hooking hard and going straight. you dont have much done to the underside of the car so lets get together and do it right the first time, and at an affordable price.
