Picked up an LS1 FD....
I recently traded my LS2 T56 Cumaro for this car... So far I'm happy with it...been 3 days lol. It needs some work, but should be pretty sweet once it's all done.
Issues...
1.) Tune needs fixed
2.) Headlights quit yesterday. You can pull back on the lever and they will come on, but high beams and low beams are inop...kind of sounding like it might be the switch
3.) Interior rattles!! Probably going to dynamat the whole interior
4.) needs stereo/speakers badly (going to put in an Alpine I have layin around)
5.) Exhaust leak needs to be addressed ASAP.... (going to use V-band clamps)
6.) Head lights go up, but don't go back down
7.) Speedometer inop
8.) Oil pressure gauge inop
9.) Needs some suspension work
I should be able to handle all of the work, but it'll be a long process lol. Overall looks like a great quailty swap. The car is a BLAST to drive, can't wait ti fix the above so I can just enjoy the car lol.
If anyone has any tips on the above, feel free to chime in!!

The lights are just likely blown fuses/fuseable links (do they still use those) I had an old, '85, Rx7 w/ a SBC. I remember one of many fuses, if it was not in the headlights would come up, not turn on or go back down. Switch was fine... again, a FD is a long way off from a FB, so take that w/a grain of salt.
I'd be a little scared to drive it at all w/o an Oil Pressure gauge. At least get an after market one hooked up so you can keep an eye on it.
Otherwise, enjoy!

Some folk on other forums have had the SAME problem with it just being a relay. I hope it's the same. I won't have time to mess with it for a few days though lol. Thanks.

Sorry to ask this, but would you mind PM'ing me about what something like that would cost to buy? I really like those and for once, wouldn't mind just buying something.
I'm torn between those sexy FD lines and a Miata.

I traded my old Cumaro for this so I can't really help you out there. Sorry.
I would try www.v8rx7forum.com
