so i have stock 853 on my car mods are in my signature. thinking of going 241. is it worth the swap. will i notice a differents.

not worth it. Get 243's if you do anything.

a valve job, milled with a thinnner gasket and you may see more. but still not really worth it.

save up for some budget ported ones

Yes port and polished 5.3 will have better performance than the 241/853s. Now What I will say is I personally do not have experience with 5.3 heads, now the people who do have a great product and you can spin them a lot higher than the 243s. TEA or Advanced Induction (AI) would be my choice since all the guys who I know are the two companies they use. I am Using AI 243s.
