Street Racing & Kill Stories - Supra and GT go down

I was driving home from GF's house and saw a Supra go by. I hung a Uturn. The car looked good, big shiny wheels....big pipe. Supras are like a box of chocolates. I was preparing for a possible beating. It turns out, I chose the sweet caramel one.

I get him at a light. I am in front and he is the second car back behind a Mustang GT(turns out to be his friend). I leave the light with purpose but not too much fanfare just to shake my tailfeathers. The GT gets off the line so the Supra comes around and we are 3 wide. They hit it. I hit it gently(45mph...2nd gear) since it is cool out and the road was very smooth. I am feathering and catching up. I get traction and it is bye bye. Turns out the Supra was NA and the GT was......well....a GT. So how's that....a Supra kill and an incidental Mustang kill. The Stang and Supra were actually a good match up.

Do you plan on modding your Z06? Low 11's are so easy in that thing. You'll pretty much own the road at that point. There aren't too many cars out there running less than that.

My very conservative plan is to get headers and that new Fast LSX intake when it comes out. There are ports built into the intake for a direct port. SO probably a conservative progressive 100 shot. I think that would make for a low cost relatively quick car(and close to 500rwhp). I keep wanting to go into the engine but I also do a little autocross and once you do that, it puts into a totally different class.....one where people spend lots of money. At the very least, headers and tuning should get me another 35rwhp. My first mod within the next week is gonna be tires. Mine are dangerous.

Yep some are N/A. They usually don't have the large f40 style wing in the back.Look real similar to the turbo cars once modding starts though. I personally have no way of telling them apart once people mod them.

nice kills with the Poopra and the Fix Or Repair Daily Mustank... :jest:.....i swear, everyone that has a poopra thinks they gotta fast car coz of that damn movie The Gay and the Curious.....i think its a damn shame...them twin turbos are pretty mean on the highway though...im hoping to run into one
