I know the Fluidampr has been discontinued and now you are supposed to use the ATI damper. Can you use any other one that isn't as expensive? Like a Pioneer SFI damper?

No you can't. When Fluidampr discontinued the 917240 balancer, ProCharger had to redeisgn their GTO crank pulley to work with another balancer, and they chose the same one they use on several of their other systems. The ATI Performance Products 918853 is the balancer to use. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...html?item=1899 Bob

Can you use that balancer without having the Procharger on their yet? I'm considering ditching my turbo build and just doing something I can install myself, an F1A or F1C. Until I get my tax refund I would be getting the car running NA first.

F-1A is what I would go with. We used a GTO ProCharger F-1A system on this CTS-V. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=29 Bob

How much difference is there between the F-1C and F-1A? I read the specs on Prochargers site, but how would the car drive in the real world? I'm looking to rev my motor to 7k.

Can you shoot me a PM with a price for a F-1A tuner kit and an F-1C tuner kit?

The F-1C is a little larger, we used one of this GTO. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=11

The F-1A is capable of making all the boost a 4 bolt per cylinder non o-ringed block can handle, past that the F-1C and F-1R are what you're going to want to use. Give me a call Monday for prices. Thanks. Bob

Can I cut a keyway in the ATI balancer? My engine builder keyed my crank before installing it.
