calling all with 315 sumitomo rear tires!!
all of you with 17x11 zr1's and have the sumitomo htr-z 315/35/17 tires... what do you keep the rear psi at?? both sets i have had always wore the middle down ALOT quicker than the outside tread. i kept psi at 35. do they need to be lower than that?

i check them cold. i guess i'm just gonna have to wait til i get 4 new ones and take it to get a 4 wheel alignment done on it. im thinking of filling them with nitrogen this time so they won't fluctuate psi.

treadwear on center indicates over inflation. treadwear on edges indicate under inflation. also keep in mind that rear tires aren't gonna wear on the edges as much as front due to less side force on the tire. so you need to run close to 30 in the rear to help create more wear on the edges.

i don't do that much playing on them to justify it wearing out that quick in the center, nor do i do any kind of drifting or sliding and what not on them. they have never been over-inflated. always kept between 30-35psi.
