Is it possible for long tube headers to screw up your front o2 sensors? I started throwing codes for the front o'2 not long after my long tube header install. Im throwing p0155 and p0135.

Long tubes will sometimes do that to o2's. Those are o2 sensor heater codes so your probably gonna need to replace them, bummer. Double check to make sure you didnt melt a wire harness before you replace the o2's

Well I know for a fact that the long tubes melted the protective plastic tubing that the wires are ran through to protect them. I replaced the tubing after I saw it was all melted. Where exactly should I check for melting? All along the harness?

You are sure that you plugged in the front O2's and not the rears right?

Well the plugins for the rear o2 sensors were left empty because they had no where to go. Those plugins were underneath by the transmission. The other wiring harnesses that are connected to the front o2's are leading up toward the engine bay, somewhere up there.

Did you just tune them out or plug some simms into them? I have seen simms on the fronts before and the motor goes into limp mode nearly.

I plugged simms in the rears but the rears were still throwing codes. Its just that both front o2's now are throwing codes. I had all my codes cleared with a handheld, the ses light has gone off for the time being. Is it possible the codes needed to be cleared or will the light come back on?

My car is running fine though, even with the simms in. If I plugged the simms into the front my car would be running like crap right? Wouldnt my car be running like crap if the front o2 harnesses are plugged into rear o2 sensors?

Light will come back on if it wasnt a GMtechII that shut them off. I forget how many starts you get before it will show back up if you had it cleared at VatoZone.

The light will come back on regardless if a tech2 or a cheap scanner was uses to clear the code. Some o2 sims just dont work all that well. Your best bet is to go a LSX tuner and have them turn off the codes for the rear o2's and sell those o2 sims to somebody.
