Got LS1 wanting some advice on my plans

Got LS1 wanting some advice on my plans I want to put stock ls2 heads and ls2 intake on the 2000 ls1 motor and change my cam. I have seen great deals on stock ls2 parts for great prices but best bang for my buck can I get the same results from other heads and keeping my stock intake. This motor is going into a 82c-10 I am rebuilding as well. So I would appreciate some help if u guys wouldnt mind. I am a newbie to the ls1 family

If it were me I would just find a complete LS6 top end (01-04 I think) and bolt them on.
Cam, heads intake and TB, you will be good to go.
Others may have a better idea though.
