Default F body wheels on a 67 camaro ?'s

What do you have to do to make late model wheels fit in a 67? I have a friend who wants my zo6's but needs to know what he has to get to make them fit....

Depends on your backspacing, but it's usually something like a 1.5" adapter in front and 2" in the rear. Measure first though to be sure. It depends on the wheel backspacing and width.

I'm not a fan of big spacers. Seems to me you'd have to run some pretty big ones to swap 4th gen wheels onto a 1st gen.

Spacers and adapters are two different things, really. Adapters have studs and bolt to the hub, and the wheel bolts to the adapter. It's plenty strong as long as quality parts are used. Spacers on the other hand are just shims that are sandwiched between the hub and the wheel.

I had 2" adapters on my '69 to get the wheels to fit without hitting the A-arms.
