You'll need a wiper arm puller, check you local auto parts store.
Something like this:

You can also use a battery terminal puller.

i used a battery terminal puller, and it worked fine. no special tools needed to put it back on. but if you can find something smaller like that wiper arm puller mentioned above it'll work alot better.

The other week i was working on the camaro and wanted to remove the w.w ended up breaking the w.w covers and not being able to remove the wipers. I know i removed them before but that was years ago and i am also avoiding buying the tool to remove them but i may end up buying the tool. I think i remember somone said to use a flat and put up with a rag under but that didnt' work for me.

I broke my windshield too... One month after getting it replaced from a rock smashing it. Be VERY careful.

the posts in here are RIDICULOUS.

undo the 13mm nut on the arm, fold the wiper all the way up at an L shape. Firmly grasp the wiper and wiggle/push it up and down(the part with the nut on it) and it will work its way loose. Its REALLY easy on gm vehicles usually. dont be scared to do some pulling and tugging on it, just hold on the the arm vertical

taken off thousands for windshield installs.

ps, close the hood

Wish my wiper arm came off that easy.

Looking at the video, what is the the part number for the bushing the wiper arm is sitting on? Or what is the exact name for it? One windshield wiper of mine doesn't hit.

Nm it did work,

I just had to really pull on it pretty good, I was nervous I was gonna break something under that cowl so I didnt do it that hard at first

just a suggestion, while you have the arm off. remove or shift the plastic cowl but be careful the corner by the windshield slides in a groove or something. on the driver side where the motor sits, leaves or dirt or whatever catches under there. now is a good time to check and clean it. i always clean my car but the crud i found was disgusting. if i remember right i think it opens up to the fender there also.
