Default I need pics of over/though core support tube intakes

Most of the guys who have done this have a carb style intake with an elbow of some sort and a filter out behind the bumper cover. The tube goes through or over the core support and radiator holder. Some have done it with stock style intakes. I need to know where to cut, what to do with the hood latch release etc. I need some pics and or write ups for some ideas.

I didnt even know where to put this post to ask, hope its in the right place.

I have seen posts but I am obviously not using the correct terms for the search.

The ones like this......

The one in the first pic at the top is obviously home made but where are people getting the replacement pannel that the tube goes through where the stock airfliter base normally sits?

What angle is that bend?

That is EXACTLY what I needed to see, the core support. Did you box it in where you cut it?

Part number on the filter?

Nope, gonna redo my intake. Port it, put a 4 hole throttlebody on and a intake like in this thread.

Also need a new hood.

dont know the angle i was at the auto zone getting some other stuff and happend to look at a kn kit for a 05 and 07 mustang and decide i could make the tubing work brought it home and did some cutting and it slid right in i didnt want to wait on custom tubing form spectra

i did not box it back in didnt have a welder at the time and figured with my spohn kmember sub frame con and cage and the front crash support it wasent going to be a problem

dont know the part number on the filter but it is the filter that comes with the kn kit for a fbody
