did you try to put on a new gasket? i would rather go that route before half assing it..not trying to bash you but usually doesnt end well. and make sure its all lined up perfect, good luck

I use very little sealant on my motor bc the gaskets are designed to be used and reused DRY. The proper way to fix your issue is a new oil pan gasket and new front cover gasket and just a touch of Ultra Black where the cover and block meet. Dont overtighten the gaskets either. Follow the torque sequence and tighten to spec and it wont leak again for a LONG time.
