What are these rims? Please help ID.
Guys, I am hoping you can help me. I am not a racer and I don't own a car, but I use these rims for a different sport. I have them on the back of my dirt-boat. It's a sail powered craft that I use on dry lake beds. I'm trying to identify what rims I have on it. they appear to be similar to what you guys run on your fronts. At least it appears they are the same size. They are 15x4 with both 4x4 and 4x4.25 bolt patterns. I would like to ID them and more importantly, I'd like to get another 2 just like them. If you can, please help. They only have one stamp on them and that's C44270. I google that, and I get nothing.
Thanks for your assistance,
Keith

Sailfast2010, no clue on the wheels. They're definatelly a specialty race wheel though, you might look into something like an outlaw midget racing company.

Thanks Leadfoot and Gordo. I appreciate your help. My search continues. I've found that they are stamped with a Ford symbol.
Ellsworth and WhiteCamaro,
I checked the terms and conditions of use on this website and nowhere did it state that I had to own a race car to ask a question. If you have a suggestion on a better place I could go to get info on 15x4 rims, then I'd appreciate the tip. If not, then I don't see how your posts serve any purpose.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate the help. I would have never come up with that on my own. Since they have both the 4 on 4 and the 4 on 4.25 bolt pattern, do you think someone at some point had the second bolt pattern drilled? What would these things be worth? I am not using them for a show car, so if someone else finds them valuable, I would rather see them shinned up and used that way.
Black FormulaLs1,
I did clean them up and I found some numbers. I didn't see them the first time I looked. Both are stamped Ford EA 15x4l. I think the last digit is an L. One is stamped B 052783 and the other is stamped with 2 numbers - B 091683, and C 44270. Google is no help with those.
Thanks again!

I would think the second bolt pattern was "built in", so the wheel could be used on two different Fords, without the added expense of making two completely different wheels.
