I have a 02 Camaro A4 and it has a lot of play in the shifter and i have problems finding gears and when i go to select a gear i have to move back and forth a little before it will go into the selected gear. Heres a video to further explain the problem.

it could be your shift cable, i dont own a auto car anymore. i had a few third gen cars, and i had to change the cable on all of them.

Someone told me that the transmission shift arms get wore out a lot on f-bodys. Idk if theres any truth to that or not?
