Default Was thinking supercharger but....???

How much would it end up costing to reinforce my block so i can say it without anything breaking in it? What is the better system, dry or wet?? i want to make around 450rwhp ... I currenty have SLP headers,off road y-pipe, corsa cat-back, and ls6 intake. I want it to be reliable so i can race my competition a supercharged 5.0.... can't get beat by a ford.Also how much would it cost???
Sorry if this is a repost. Thanks

Your block should be fine. I was doing the math myself... I run headers and a full exhaust, that's it.

6000 = Supercharger/fuel pump/injectors
2300 = 12 bolt rear
450 = drive shaft
900 = clutch

9,650.00 + tuning, dyno time, torque arm and any sort of forged internals you may want. Hope you have some extra change laying around. Expensive but fun.

Well if you want the most power then go with a Wet kit.. Makes a ton of tq.. I gained 160 ftlbs off a 90 wet shot.. It sounds unbelievable but its true.. on a 50 shot I gained almost 80ftlbs.. I dynoed on motor 187hp and on the 90 shot 296hp at the wheels.. So with the 90 shot I actually gained 110hp!!! Wet Kits are the ****!!

Spray is the Way!!

My 2000 ran 440+rwhp with a few bolt-ons and a TNT wet 100shot. With the wet kit the injectors and tuning aren't as big of an issue, but you also have to be aware of fuel puddling. For a mild car, I'd say 100-125HP wet shot will easily get you where you want to be...
