Default How did I bleed my brakes without bleeding em?

Ok, so a few weeks ago I removed the brake master and booster in order to touch up a few scratches on the firewall and bench bled the master cylinder upon reinstallation. Well apparantly (obviously) some air got into the lines upon reinstallation. So I put off bleeding the brakes because it's been sitting while the snow has been coming down. I decided to take the car out last night because the rain had washed all the snow and salt away. The brake pedal was very mushy but the car still stopped. I decided to try my Linelock and pump the pedal a few times. Well this somehow firmed up my pedal and it is now pretty damn good. What did my linelock do to firm up the pedal????

The linelock only locks out the front brakes under pressure while the rear brakes makes pressure via the pedal at the time it's engaged.

You have to bleed the rest of the system even after bench bleeding the master clyinder.

Yep there is air in there only one way to get it out.
If the pedal is mushy & you pump the pedal you compress the air, & the pedal feels better.
