Default +53mm Offset + 1" Adapters + Bumpstop Spacers = OK?

I've got a set of 18x9.5 C5 Z06 replicas with a 53mm offset. I'm lowered on Strano springs w/Koni shocks too. I'd like to get the rear wheels pushed out a little to get them flush with the rear fender. I'm running the SLP bumpstop spacers too.

From the research I've done, it looks like 53mm + 1" adapter would give me total offset of +27.6mm...and that's NOT within the specs listed at the sticky in this forum.

My main concern is that I don't want to hit a bump and the rear wheels slam into the fender and then crinkle the fender and cut my tires. I also don't want the tires to stick out past the fenders at all either.

Is a 1" adapter too much? If not, will the bumpstop spacers be enough to limit the suspension and keep the tire out of the fenders? I don't really want to go with spacers and longer studs, and I ran a 1.25" adapters back when I had OEM C6 19's, so I'm not worried about running adapters.

I'm was trying to NOT have to buy longer studs, but unfortunately, the smallest adapter/spacer is only down to 1", so that's why I ask...

I tried 1" hub spacers with my 18 x 9, +45 0ffset with the fender lips rolled, but it was still just a little to close. If you go with 20mm or 3/4" hubspacers you should be good with clearance if you roll the fender lips.

H&R, or custom Motorsport Technology hub-centric hub spacers will work for you.
