Thanks,
Yes they are just stock brakes with cross drilled/slotted rotors. Its lowered about 1.5" in the rear and a couple in the front with coil overs.

If I'm not mistaken, the Aluma Stars will not be a direct bolt on wheel. They are gorgeous though. I've seen several with them on and wanted the same wheel but you'll have to narrow the rear end to tuck them (again, if I'm not mistaken).

Personally, I run the Bogart D6's. They're a sweet set of wheels.

No, they are a direct fit wheel. I've known Rich Bogart for a while so he always takes care of me on my wheels. I would talk to SJM Manufacturing, I'm sure they'll chime in shortly.

No grinding or spacing needed. That was the best part! I talked to Steve at SJM. He knows wheels inside and out.

Thanks for the compliment

Go to www.sjmmanufacturing.com Click on the "Bogart Wheels" tab at the top. Then pick P1 Billet. Several to choose from.

Ask for Steve.

Steve at SJM also has a couple pics of my car on his customer page

Almost all of our Bogart wheel designs can be built to fit just about any application without modifications. We are not building one size fits most wheels, they are built to each cars needs...therefore just about every application, we have an answer for fitment. The LS1 F-body OEM brake configuration is rather easy to fit...using our parts at least.

If someone wants larger pictures or even different images, I can directly e-mail any of them to whoever needs them. Images in the gallery are only so big so not to bog down computers when they view them. If someone has a setup they want added to the gallery, feel free to e-mail them and I will have them posted. We created the F-body gallery http://www.sjmmanufacturing.com/customer_cam.html so that people can get an idea of what different wheel combinations will look like.

Let me know if anyone has any other questions or concerns regarding wheels. Fitz, I really like the way the wheels look on your car. The D6's...we really don't have that many F-bodies with them. I think maybe we've built at most 20 sets for them. Usually people purchase wheels based on what they see...probably the most popular are the RT and D10 style. To the original poster, welds wheels are very nice too. I know you were asking about the welds, I don't want to stray you from your original post. You won't go wrong with those wheels either. I don't believe the weld rear wheels have a deep enough backspace for an OEM length rear-end. If I'm not mistaken the largest they offer is 6.5" If you're rear is shortened, you're good to go.

With the welds, drag brakes may be necessary at least on the rear fwiw. Good luck with your setup!

Thanks for the pics link, I really like the Bogarts. I was told there not good for the street. My T/A is far from a everyday driver, I put 500 miles on it last year. However most of those were in 2 weekends. I would hate spend good money on a set of wheels to have problems with them. Will they hold up for what I want them for? I know there great for the strip, I'm headed there too!

Keep the pics coming, I'm being sold very quickly on Bogarts. Thanks guys, I haven't seen a car yet that doesn't look good with these wheels on it.

Steve can now make a street/strip wheel in the bogarts. I believe they must be a bolted wheel (steve correct me if im wrong), but they can be made heavier to put up with street use now for a little extra $$$

Kilrbecars - Though these are a drag wheel, I've been driving mine on the street since July 2008 and have had zero issues with them. Granted, I don't corner like a road racer and watch for potholes/curbs but that's not why I got this car. It was to drag race and weekend cruise.

If you do decide on them, Steve will also advise you on the CORRECT front tire you should be running with the P1's.
