Anyone seen the kenne bell webiste lately. This suddenly makes the 2010 camaro even more appealing then it already was. I have had the opprotunity to ride in a cobra with a postive displacement blower the its fun to say the least.

4th gen probably got skipped because of the difficulty fitting anything under the cowl.

Nobody makes fun of blown Cobras, they make fun of Ford guys who compare a Blown 4v 4.6 to an LS1.

Yeah, I try not to get caught up in that "Ford needed a blower" crap, but I do think it is kind of silly to compare a factory blown car to a factory NA car.
It's cool that KB's are going to be available, but we are still talking aftermarket. I would like to see a factory supercharger option, like the Magnacharger, for the SS. I realize that may not happen with the rumored Z28 coming, but it sure would be nice.
Afermarket blowers are too much got a lot of us. You are talking thousands of dollars in parts, then tearing into the top end of a brand new car/engine, and running boost that could do expensive damage to the engine with blown warranty coverage for the engine, tranny, and rear end. A factory option avoids all of that.

While I too would like to see a factory SC option, it would likely come at a VERY high pricetag. Aftermarket would be considerably cheaper on the intial investment. As long as you're not racing the thing constantly and abusing your car, a SC'd vehicle should last a VERY long time. With FI, it all comes down to the tuning.

Interesting. I wouldn't mind having a new Camaro with a 4.2L KB on it.
