Just got a cam installed and now a P0300?
My car is a 98 A4 Z. Pretty much stock motor other then a new TSP 231/237 cam. Took it to work today and tripped an SES light. Scanned it and it was a P0300 (random misfires). It is on all cylinders. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Yup big cams throw P0300 codes. 2 ways to get rid of it, one is to delete this code, which is what I have done and/or raise some the values in certain tables within edit to avoid the PCM from actually triggering it which is what I did initially but didn't solve it.

Edit out the value of 32767, and change it to 32000, in the low and med tables (low idle by rpm, etc.....). I would not turn the code off, in the event you blow a plug at higher rpm, you will not know and may casue more damage.
