Need someone to weld up modified oil pan
Anybody around DFW do aluminum welding?
I need a modified truck pan welded up. Every place I've gone says they either cant do it, or they want to charge me several hundred dollars worth to do so. Now I know you gotta pay to play, but $600 seems ridiculously expensive for this type of job.
I can post a picture of the modified pan I need welded up if it will help.
I also need an aluminum radiator very slightly modified.

Post up a picture.
If you go to a performance shop you will get charged 90-100 an hour. Look for a marine repair place or a fab shop. Anything aluminum that doesn't require too much skill I run over to a propeller shop on Mill St. I've taken aluminum elbows, trans bellhousings and cases over there and they've done a good job.
