Default tapping noise?

ok i have this weird tapping going on, i know ls1's have all kinds of weird noises but this one seems to change with clutch/shifting. i'm about to take the valve covers off to see if maybe i bent a push rod but i'm not very knowledgable with t56's. is there anything with the t56/clutch assembly that would cause a tapping sound? sounds like tapping a hammer on an aluminum can. car has zero loss of power and nothing in the oil.

driver side rockers/push rods seem to be fine.

passenger side rockers/push rods are fine also. considering getting the intake/heads off and checking the lifters and valves next but i'd really like som input first on possible 6speed tapping?
