Question 1994 B4C, Built 396 LT1 Supercharged, what's it worth?

Hey there,

Well I'm curious if you guys could help me determine a ball-park figure of what my car would be worth if I put her up for sale. Below I'll list the bulk of mods off the top of my head. There's only about 10k miles on the Engine and Transmission, since both of them have been built. The rear-end is a stock unit with 60k on it.

This thing is pretty much a project mostly finished, that is daily drivable, but needs money thrown at it to live up to its potential. I've had the car 9 yrs, ever since I was 16.

My plans to finish it were upgrade A-trim to T-trim (A-trim is maxed out making barely 4lbs...it was originally used when the engine was stock making 7lbs). Ford 9-inch or 12-bolt, Needs new brakes, and finally a dyno-tune. It's running off a PCMForLess Tune that's been re-done a couple times. Excellent tune considering it's mail-order. Plan was to put it on a dyno loooong ago as soon as I put a T-Trim on. I can post pictures if it helps. Car is pretty clean, all black paint, black wheels, smoked taillights etc. No added body work. Somewhat of a sleeper with the single-tip exhaust and no badges. Interior behind front seats is fully gutted. Full interior front seats forward. Displacement adds up to 396 cubic inches, or roughly 6.5 liter.

It's a 1994 B4C, with 164k miles on the Chassis. Most aftermarket parts (including suspension etc...has 10-20k miles on them)

BTW: reason for potential sale...considering going back to college to get second degree. Will need the money to fund the gap that student loans and grants won't cover.

Oh and...I have all receipts for all Machine Work, All Parts, everything...detailed documents on what machining was done, how it was done, etc. etc. Machining, balancing and assembly of Short Block was done by R&Q out of Selah WA. They are very reputable in the area. Receipts for everything add up to 15-20K i believe (but thats tires and all sorts of little things no longer on the car) I have documents from everything since I was 16. I even have hundreds of pictures of the build process.

I couldn't find a picture of it with the Magnesium C5 wheels...but the rest is the same...you'll get the idea. Oh yeah, and the windows are all tinted to legal maximum in WA.

The static compression ratio is just a hair under 9:1. At 4 psi w/drag radials it ran:
60': 1.674
330: 5.026
1/8: 7.807
MPH: 87.48

That's the first and last time I had it at the track after the motor was broken in. It's never been dyno'd, otherwise I'd post numbers. As it sits there should be quite a bit of power sitting on the table you could grab with a dyno tune. For starters it's not tuned for the methanol. I added that on later and it's turned down just to ensure detonation doesn't occur. Although the blower is maxed out, with a tune I imagine you could bump up timing, add meth or water, and just generally improve over the mail order. I approximate power to be in the 500hp area at the flywheel, same with tq; as it sits.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Part of me thinks I'd potentially be able to get more money if I paid to have it dyno'd. Seems that may help to prove overall health of the motor and power potential. Any truth to that, or am I just throwing away more money?

I was hoping for the 7k - 8k neighborhood, does that sound reasonable?
