Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - Low budget engine for C4 ?

whats the best low budget set up for '91 C4 ? I was thinking of ported vortec heads,LT4 hot cam or any other Xtreme roller cam,650 double pump holley,over bore .030 or .060 cant decide right now is this set up fine to hit 450hp ? I will make sure to order lightweight flywheel and small damper for more free rev's,the tranny is TH350 with shift kit and clutch's and stock rear end what do you think? the pistons will be flat top's and if I could find flat top with 2 valve reliefes that more like it

Your on track, can make 425 HP or so pretty easy with a combo like that, not to mention 450+ FTLBS TQ.

what about bore size ? should we go with .030 or .060 ?

go 40 over common slug and gives you room for one rebore if .30 or .60 is all u can get go .60 bore for power is what i think

Go with .030, that way there is room left, 5 cubes wont make any real power difference if you went .060 over.

I think I will go with .030 thanks guys
