Default Impala Console Removal

Hey guys, well my brother has a 2006 Impala with the console shift and it won't shift out of park. So I took a look at it and it's the shifter solenoid that needs to be replaced. Now how do you get this stupid console out of this car!? I know I'm probly overlooking something really stupid, got the 2 bolts out of where the console attaches to the shifter plate and the 2 screws out of the back by the seats. What am I missing here? Thanks a bunch guys!

There's a button or something in the shifter area when you remove the cup holder pocket to bypass that in order to move the vehicle. Might be pics somewhere.

Ok here we go.

Front floor console replacement (Impala) 2-76
Preliminary procedures:
1. Remove the front floor console bin liner.
2. Remove the console shift lever bezel. Refer to Console shift lever bezel replacement on page 2-75.

Tip:
Use only a plastic trim tool to lift the shift lever bezel from the console. Do not use any tool between the trim bezel and the shifter.
Apply the park brake and shift lever rearward. The sound deadener must be reinstalled if the wire harness is removed or replaced.

1. Front floor console bolts (qty 6) Tighten 7 Nm (62 lb in)
Four are in the the console area that is covered with the door and two look to be alongside the shifter.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Thanks a bunch!!! My brothers center console was filthy and the bottom of it felt smooth, so I just assumed it didn't pull up. Used an interior hook tool and BAM!! There's the 4 bolts!! Thanks Man!!

Alright. The picture had it coming out in one piece without taking the front trim or rear trim off of it. Just the trim around the shifter.
