Need help determining a 9inch - 3 or 4ch

Default Need help determining a 9inch - 3 or 4ch

This kid I work with has a 9inch out of a 4th gen that he wants to let go cheap. I beleive a 3 channel has the ABS in the pumpkin and 4 ch has the reluctor wheel in each axle....am I correct? If not let me know....thanks guys

yeah 4 channel has the sensors in each wheel

How much of a pain would it be to switch from 4 to a 3....would have to drill it right?

You would have to do more than that. You would need a reluctor ring in there to pick up the rotation. Bob
