Default wide band o2 placement

My turbo kit was made by 417 motorsports , both exhaust manifolds have o2 bungs but the single turbo down pipe dont. I was always told that the o2 should be after the turbo, but i cant see how such a prestigious company like 417 would make a error like that. i would like to hear any information you may have on this. I mounted the AEM wide band in the passenger side manifold just before the turbo for now.

Should be in the downpipe, the pressure and heat will skew the readings and cut down on sensor life.

Those two ports should be for your front o2's and the WB should be after the turbo. There is a sticky for placement on it i believe.

the narrow bands o2 (car's front o2 sensors) should be near the collectors, preturbo.
an aftermarket wideband o2 should be in the downpipe about 6-8" after the turbo, with the tip pointed down so water does not collect on it when off.
