Default HELP LS6 manifold install no oil presure on gauge

I just did an LS6 intake swap on my 99 firebird LS1 and i believe the oil pressure sending unit might be broken. When i removed the old manifold the Oil pressure sending unit was still intact and looked to be fine. One thing that did bother me when looking at it was that the wiring that is attached to the connector that plugs into the sensor, only had one visible wire. Does anyone know or have a schematic on how many leads go into the connector that plugs into the oil pressure sending unit? I took it for a drive after the install and it does not seem to be leaking oil. Also for future reference incase i have to take the whole thing appart, does the break booster tube that is connected to the elbow on the LS6 intake manifiold run behind or infront of the Oil Pressure Sending Unit? Thanks for the help.

When the car is off the needle slightly raises above zero. When the key is turned just for power or when the car is on, the needle pins to zero indicating no oil pressure. Is there another way to check if i am actually getting oil pressure without that gauge?

Alright i will have to check the wire and make sure that there is still a connection. Is it alright to still drive the car if the oil pressure sending unit is broken and how can i check/confirm that i am still getting oil pressure without the use of the gauge on the dash? Thanks

I'm sure you're getting pressure, you just broke the sending unit. Whether you pulled the wire out, or broke the goddamn thing in half (like I did), it probably just needs replaced. 38$ fuckup. But I believe I needed a special socket to remove it, which my neighbor happened to have
