Default 69 Firebird Dash *pictures*

Since nobody makes aftermarket dash for 69 Firebird i modified the one i have. If anyone has any comments or suggestions let me know.

Thanks guys, ill take few more pictures once its together. Plan to paint area's where paints scratched up as well. Only thing i'll leaving alone is the Center console, might just replace.

Very nice, FYI Classic Industries make new dashs for the 69 as of 2008. But the are a bit on the high side. Still think your idea was asome.

Thanks, the first-gen and second-gen are awesome i love them too.

yeah ive seen the price for those new dashes its unrealistic. Only problem i had fitting new gauges was the angle they went in. i had to mess with it, but got it mounted right. ill have some pictures of it in car tomorrow.

i think it would liik cool if you painted the outline of the pontiac sign and the star in the middle red.or whatever color the car is

Thats a great idea, thanks! i will look into it.

Here's a few i took today, still need fews things done, like those wires that hang ect... You can see how it all mounts up.

Great pics. Just a warning to u, try soildering or quick disconnectors. butt connectors are wiring nightmares if a problems show up. Most local Pep boys are stocking weather pack connectors these days also. helps when repairs call for u to take apart stuff on dash wiring.

Cool, thanks. i was about to use the heat shrink butt connectors, but ill check out the weather pack connectors i haven't used them before.

By the way i see the 69 Firebird in your sig it looks good next to the newer bird , got any more pic's of it?

I'll get more pics up as soon as I get a photo buckett account. Should be this week. I have spent the last past 3 months getting pics on to my computer. The 69 is at a body shop at this time. Hope to get her back on the road in the next two years. Doing a large number of changes, going set her up for wild runs on and of the street.
