I just have to say they are the best 12 bolts out there! I had one in my WS6 and it smoked the POS Moser 12bolt I had before getting the strange.

I've done a couple rearend gp's and I'm willing to do another if people are serious. I usually get 40-50 requests and 3-4 purchases which isn't great considering the time it takes to spec everyones individual request and answer questions. Shipping for a rearend is $125 - 175 depending on the setup so I'm willing to cover shipping and knock a few bucks off of retail. If you guys are ready to buy we'll get this going.

I can't figure out why everybody wants an S60 when a 12 bolt will more than handle what their car can dish out?

(with a 6 speed) Unless you have a spool..its not really much better than the 10 bolt.. The posi unit always seems to go out..If I go with a 12 bolt Id get a spool...

This is a completely wrong statement. In my old 2000 camaro m6 with a 12 bolt that I owned for 4 years, put about 40,000 miles on, and ran consistent 11 second passes for most of the years and then the last year ran consistent 10's on 1.50 60's. I never had a lick of trouble with that 12 bolt. Then sold it to another person on this board 2 years ago and as far as I know he's never had a problem either. A eaton and auburn pro posi unit 12 bolt will be more then stout enough for a lot of people on this board m6 or a4.

You could hear it if you were looking for it but not bad at all. Just change the oil every year at the end of the year. I used royal purple with no gm additive with good results.

Really? Wow..How hard would you leave on a 12bolt with a 6 speed?

best of a 1.53 but usually around the 1.6 range. I would rev it to the 3500 - 3800 rpm range and floor it after i dropped the clutch. You could hear it more at the end of the year but with a change of oil it would go back to normal. I tried mobil 1, regular 80w90 different brands all with the gm antislip additive and the only one that I found to work was royal purple without the gm additive.

Id like to leave a little higher but damn If I could get it to hold a 1.6 or 1.7 Id surely be 11.8s.. on motor(12.2s @ 118 with a 2.2)

A friend of mine was launching his '94 firebird at 6200 with a 150 shot and was running high 10's, and that was before he put the 396 in it

Guys I apologize, I'm starting up another rearend gp for strange and moser. I didn't see the additional replies here otherwise I would've posted earlier, many have pm'd me with requests so feel free to do that.

As for the 12 bolt vs. s60 questions I try to stay away from 12 bolts in 6 speed applications because the 12 bolts don't have pinion supports and the stock of the clutch dump causes everything to more around in there which eventually breaks parts. I've seen plenty of 11 second 6 speed cars break 12 bolts.
