Default tight ls1 fit

Im having trouble with the fit of the TB and the air intake under the hood of my 968. I need to either source a less tall TB or an intake manifold with shorter TB installation flange; are there any lower profile TB out there (Holley maybe) or an ecentric 22 degree transition hose? shorter MAF? how close can the MAF be to the TB?

Thanks

Jpr

thanks for the reply. Im trying to keep the MAF and Im fractions of an inch from making the necessary clearance. Would the LS2 plenum gime me more clearance? I saw that the throttle body flange is 4 bolts to the ls6 one is 3 with the top one sticking way out there were clearance is tight.

Input is appreciated,

Thanks

I'm curious as I'm putting an LS1 into a 968. How low did you drop the engine? I've gone to a Moroso dry sump oil pan that that I'm cutting an inch out of to fit around the cross member and the steering rack.
