Suspension & Brakes - SLP Line lock ???

I got an SLP line lock. Getting ready to put it in while reading instructions...

What does "Make sure the Master cylinder to solenoid screws into the half of the solenoid with the wires, and the solenoid to ABS line is screwed in the half of the solenoid without the wires" what does this mean???

just mount your line lock where the word are right side up (u can read it) the lines are self explanatory.pretty simple

Go to ground and a switched hot source and you are done. I believe the wiring diagram has it wired to a constant hot... I would not do that. You only need the line lock when you want to burn out.... if you wire it constant hot, you may inadvertantly press the button... park your car and wake up to a dead battery... just my .02

so what happened?? only trouble i ever had with any SLP line locks was the bottome line leaking and needing to be extra tightened...other than that, never had an issue with its operation or function.

The SJM LL has a control switch, a master switch led light, and a master switch. The electrical circuit is controlled by the master switch and when it is activated the led light will illuminate letting you know it is ready to use. When not in use the master deactivates the circuit so accidental deployment cannot occur. You could add a toggle switch in line to cut the power to your SLP solenoid when not in use to make it safer, but not necessary to use line lock.

Sounds like SJM will get my dollar when I purchase one.

thats pretty much what i have gathered, I think i will be purchasing an SJM when its time to buy. anyone got any ballpark prices on what i can expect to pay? know anyone whos selling one, or a link where i can find one???

I have bought SLP stuff and have been disappointed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought the SJM wiring kit to redo my SLP line lock and thought it was a ripoff for the money. All I ended up using from the SJM wiring kit was the momentary switch. I didn't like the tiny toggle switch, seperate LED's and crimp on connectors I already had laying around. I used a lighted rocker switch to activate the circuit then the momentary to the solenoid.
