waiting on mine. he said it's second in line to being done.
what i ordered was:
-Fabricated 9" housing, w/ tunnel crossmember mounted torque arm, with applicable crossmember and driveshaft loop.
-31 spline Moser axles w/ bearings and 1/2" longer studs, 4-hole relocation brackets
included, and drain plug
-Strange Iron S case w/ Truetrac diff, 3.70 gears
-3 channel abs option installed, all parts semi-gloss black powdercoated except center section which will be painted.
OPTIONS:
-Backbraced
-solid Anti-roll drag bar
-completely installed with new backing plates

Midwest Chassis Talked with Eric at Midwest Chassis and Performance Last night. He is there for every question, a true professional and has his own personal R&D car.
3 Importanat things you should consider, and I wont even mention the price! This is a TRUE fabricated Piece, not just a 9" housing someone is putting a cover on. It has internal gussets, and assembled per customer, per car, per specs! Very impressed with the many people I have talked with. I am for sure buying from him as his integrity seems to be top notch.
ok, now did all this put me to the front of the line???
Looks like I am going to be buying Stange brakes all the way around, and getting rid of these Aerospace brakes I have now....whew!

Mine is in powdercoat right now.
- MidWest 9" housing, braced on back, more internal gussets than normal
- Wheelie bar brackets, tow hooks, narrowed relocation brackets, more bracing on the outside of the housing for the wheelie bar brackets
- Strange Ultra-case big bore (3.812) 9" center section w/ ball bearing pinion, billet yoke, 40 spline spool
- 4.30 gears
- 40 spline gun drilled axles with star flanges and lightening holes
- MidWest adjustable chrome moly anti-roll (body mount)
- MidWest chrome moly torque arm, with integral trans mount (able to adjust instant center for chassis setup
- Afco double adjustable front coil overs w/ Custom upper mount
- MidWest chrome moly LCA's (solid mounts and no poly bushings)
I have the center section, but everything else should be ready for pickup next weekend.
Then I will be dropping the car off for a few other things in a few weeks.

No. Those ET numbers were made with my old Moser 12 bolt. Last year was a learning and shake down year with the car. Now this year will be a different story 
I upgraded to the housing from Eric @ MidWest Chassis so I could go faster this year and not have to worry about the 12 bolt.
I'm looking forward to picking up my housing from Eric next weekend

He did a nice job of fab. Every thing cames as it should. Good price. Ask him if he got the E brake mounting fixed yet. Every thing else is gr8. Buy quick before the line gets to long.

sounds like the line is already long. I've been waiting about a month I think. it may go smoother since he got his sheetmetal in. I think he has alot of the extra components ready to go.

My car is sitting down there right now. I'm also on the list for a fabbed housing. He is a great guy to talk to and willing to answer questions. I should be getting the car back next weekend. Went in for the full cage and got carried away. But it will be worth it next year. I was looking at one of his rearends when I was there. I should have weighed my moser 9" before I sold it to see the weight difference.
cage, manual rack, fabbed rearend, LCA, TA, subframe connecters, antiroll bar, possibly a chute mount.

One thing I also notice about the midwest rear is that the bottom mount of the torque arm to the top mount on the rear is that it is verticle from one to the other. On the M9 piece in the pictures the top mount is staggered towards the center of the housing with the bottom being away from the housing. I could be wrong but wouldn't the rear leverage on a hard lauch cause a twisting action on the arm, even more so on the long arms?
What do the suspension guys think about this? Personally I want the arm to be completely verticle and straight instead of having a twisted arm. I know that EPP has had very good 60' times but wouldn't this twisted arm have longevity concerns over the coarse of it's life causing it to fail eventually.

you notice that too? it has proven itself one weekend in the orange epp car, but i have the same thoughts as you. Moser has a great reputation for their components and their quality is sufficent, but i do question this particular design. i guess time will tell, but i'd hate to see the result if one fails.
